Practice and Policy Lecture Series

The Practice and Policy Lecture Series has been developed to provide thought-provoking presentations on Oklahoma’s emerging policy issues, trends, and best practices.  The series is sponsored by the OKDHS Office of Planning, Research, and Statistics and the University of Oklahoma Center for Public Management

The Lecture Series is a public event. Everyone is invited to attend.

About the Lecture:

The lecture will be a tribute to the inclusion of Clinical Social Work consultation as a Soonercare benefit during the perinatal period. The presenters will describe the psychosocial considerations known to have impact on the healthy outcome of childbearing, parenting, and early infant mental health. “Whatever does not specifically back up the idea that parents are responsible people will in the long run be harmful to the very core of society….out of the healthy family comes the future.” D.W.
